All my life I’ve loved to write.
Short stories, poems, songs, journal entries…
As a child, putting pen to paper was always just “my thing.”
I mean, considering I now write a popular manifestation blog it’s really no surprise, right?
So when I stumbled across the Law of Attraction scripting technique, my entire being lit up with excitement…
Here was a manifesting method that was literally made for me!!
I mean, scripting combined my two biggest loves…
Writing and achieving goals!
My expectation was that scripting would be a fun and therapeutic way to wind down at the end of each day while at the same time, manifesting all of my earthly desires…
What I didn’t expect was just how fricken powerful this method really is!
Before writing this article I decided to go through some of my old scripting journals from a few years ago…
I have to say, I was completely blown away!
Almost everything I wrote in my journals back then has either already manifested or is on the brink of manifesting (and I know that because I am physically closer to those goals than ever before).
The amount of money I wanted per month…
The car I wanted to be driving…
The relationship I wanted to be in…
The high vibe group of friends…
The beautiful and well-lit apartment full of plant babies…
It’s all there, not only on the pages of my 2018 journals but actually in my reality!
Reading back has made me so excited for what’s to come, knowing that the scripting I have been working on this year is a step above anything I have ever manifested before!
With the success, I have had with this method I figured it would be a great idea to dedicate an entire article to scripting for beginners.
What it is, how to do it, why it works, and everything in between.
My intention is that you’ll walk away from this article confident and ready to start your own scripting journey toward all your dreams coming true!
With all that being said…
Let’s get into it!!
What Is Scripting?
Scripting is a Law of Attraction technique that involves journaling about your desires as if they have already manifested.
Usually, your entries will be written daily (if not as often as you can) and will encourage you to daydream/visualize your perfect life as if it’s occurring right now!
The scripting technique allows you to solidify your intentions on paper, visualize your desired reality and also use natural affirmations as you go…
This makes the scripting technique a triple whammy manifestation method that really does work!
How Do I Script?
Scripting is a relatively easy manifestation technique. There are no hard and fast rules, the main thing is to write in a way that feels good to you, however, here are some steps that might make the process easier…
1.) Prepare For Scripting:
Before you start scripting it pays to have a think about what materials you might need.
You can use loose paper, a notebook, or you may even prefer to type out your scripting entries on your phone or computer.
Again, always go with what feels most comfortable for you.
Personally, I have to admit that I’m a bit of a stationery geek.
Nothing gets me excited quite like a flowy ballpoint pen and a beautiful notebook.
If you do purchase a special pen and journal for scripting, make sure you choose something that you really vibe with. Having equipment that you love is a great way to supercharge your manifestations.
2.) Set a routine:
The next thing you should do is make space in your daily routine for scripting.
This is something that you want to be doing on a regular basis (daily if not every other day has worked best for me), so it’s important to work out where in your routine can you fit scripting in.
Now I know a lot of people like to do their scripting in the morning as a way to set the tone for a positive day but for me, my mornings are pretty busy and so I prefer to script in bed at night before I go to sleep.
I think scripting at night is very therapeutic and it helps me wind down for a good night’s sleep.
I’m also very aware of the power of the subconscious mind during sleep and so scripting at night allows me to set my subconscious to operate as a magnet for my desires through the dream state.
3.) Write:
As I mentioned earlier, when it comes to scripting, there are no super strict rules. In this exercise, it’s more important to enjoy doing it rather than for it to be perfect.
The main idea is that you want to script in a very similar way to how you would journal…
The only difference is that you want to write as if your desires have already manifested.
Feel into the experience. Be descriptive and let it double as a visualization technique.
As you write, you will notice that natural affirmations will begin to form throughout your words.
Charge those affirmations even more by adding feeling to them. This will help you to align with your desires on a vibrational level and therefore make your script even more powerful.
Here is an example of how you might script.
Take note of the natural affirmations throughout the paragraph and notice the ‘feeling’ words in bold.
August 8th:
“When I woke up this morning I knew that it was going to be a great day! The sun was shining as I made my way around my new place, opening the shutters to let the light in. I can hardly believe how lucky I am to have manifested my dream apartment! I opened up my closet to a huge selection of gorgeous work outfits and picked out my favorite. I’m so grateful now that I can go shopping whenever I like and that I can afford all the things I love. I packed myself a healthy lunch in my stunning kitchen, so happy to have an abundance of delicious and nutritious meals in my fridge.
Later, while I was at work having a super productive day, my boss pulled me to the side and asked if we could have a chat. He said he was really impressed with the work I’ve been doing and offered me a huge promotion! I feel truly honored that my efforts are being recognized and appreciated.
Then while on a break in the lunchroom, my cute co-worker asked me on a date! We are planning to eat at my favorite seafood restaurant on Saturday night! He’s been texting me all afternoon and I’m so excited for where this will go.”
As you can see, the scripting entry above has been written as if I’m finishing off a day in my desired life.
This style of writing complete with natural affirmations, feeling, and descriptive language is scripting in a nutshell.
This exercise should be a therapeutic experience that essentially allows you to daydream about all the things you desire as if these things have already happened.
This Manifestation Technique is Powerful!
As I mentioned before, I love scripting!
It’s one of my favorite manifestation methods purely because it works so well!
Scripting fuses a number of different manifestation techniques together including…
- Intention setting.
- Affirmations.
- Visualization.
- Acting as if.
- The power of emotion.
It’s the combination of these elements which make scripting so powerful!
When you script, you not only imprint your desires on the subconscious mind but you also align with what you want on a vibrational level through the channels of visualization and emotion.
Scripting also allows you to act as if your dream life is already occurring…
This pulls you into the vibration of having rather than wanting.
Because the energy of ‘wanting’ is a never-ending cycle.
Wanting attracts more wanting…
When you say ‘I want’, the energy is ‘I don’t already have’…
But having a vibration based on the ‘now’ means that everything has been completed on your side. This ensures fast and effective manifestation.
Frequently Asked Questions:
What should I do with my script once I have finished with it?
Personally I like to keep my scripting journals. Once I have filled one up I put it away and then read back through it in 12 months or so.
I think it’s really fun to go through and take note of what has manifested. I also feel this is a great way to build faith and manifest even bigger things.
Should I write the same thing each day, or different things?
There will be a little bit of repetition in your scripting journals but it shouldn’t be word-for-word.
It should always come from the heart and be based on how are you feeling that day… For example, one day I might have been feeling stressed about health so I might write about having perfect health. The next day maybe I thought about my ideal home, or desired friends, etc.
Keep your scripting practice relevant to your current thoughts and feelings.
Again, there will be some repetition and that’s okay too
Should I script every day?
Personally I like to script every day if I can.
I script about a whole range of desires to do with money, business, career, family, relationships, health, etc so for me, there is always something to script about, however, if you’re focusing on manifesting one single thing then you might prefer to script less often and that’s fine too.
Should I script if I’m in a bad mood?
Scripting is best done when you are feeling high-vibe.
Emotion is an important factor in manifesting. Remember, what you send out is what you get back, like-attracts-like.
This is a technique that is meant to be enjoyed so if you don’t feel up to it, take a break and fill your own cup first. Come back to scripting when you’re feeling a little better.
