Your life is a corridor filled with doorways…
As you stride your way through, some doors will open with ease…
Others will be locked.
The truth is that you will always hold the master key to your chosen destiny…
But whether you enter that new doorway, or simply walk right by is another matter entirely.
What am I talking about?
Taking inspired action.
You see, manifestation always begins with setting an intention for something you desire.
Once that intention has been set, the universe responds by opening a sequence of doors to redirect your path.
By following your inner guidance system, you are gently nudged in the direction of these new opportunities.
If you choose to walk through the door, you take “inspired action.”
To put it simply…
To take “inspired action” is to act on divine inner knowing…
Therefore moving into direct alignment with your desires.
You might say that this article is my inspired action!
After all, I have been guided to act on this insight by sharing it with you.

“No pessimist ever discovered the secret of the stars. Or sailed to an unchartered land. Or opened a new doorway for the human spirit” – Helen Keller.
Thought Emotion and Action.
The Law of Attraction is all about energy.
The energy you send out creates the reality you experience.
Now, the 3 main energies you work with here in the physical world are thought, emotion and action.
Each time you use one of these energies, you emit a frequency out into the universe.
However, when it comes to manifesting dreams and desires, the concept of “action” is still widely misunderstood
Some people don’t take action at all.
They believe that since the Law of Attraction states that “thoughts create things”, they shouldn’t have to.
Others will try desperately to reach their goals through over exhausting themselves in strenuous work and then wonder why things aren’t moving…
So which one is it?
Hard work, or no work at all?
What kinds of “physical steps” should you be taking in order to manifest your desires?
“When we align our thoughts, emotions, and actions with the highest part of ourselves, we are filled with enthusiasm, purpose and meaning. Life is rich and full. We have no thoughts of bitterness. We have no memory of fear. We are joyously and intimately engaged with our world. This is the experience of authentic power.” – Gary Zukav[thrive_link color=’purple’ link=’https://moderndaymanifestations.com/cheat-sheet/’ target=’_blank’ size=’medium’ align=’aligncenter’]Do You Want To Manifest? What Is Inspired Action?
The truth is that it’s always a good idea to act on your manifestations…
To chase your dreams!
But, in order to take your goals a step further, the specific type of action you want to be striving for… is inspired action.
Inspired actions are the steps you take toward your goals that have been inspired by the divine within.
There are three main ways that you can consciously take inspired action in your life.
Here is a breakdown of each…
1.) Following Your Intuition.
Have you ever experienced a random spark of genius pop into your mind seemingly out of nowhere?
Usually, these ideas are not forced, rather they spring forth when you least expect it…
Perhaps it’s in the middle of a deep daydream or while you are on your way to work with nothing of great importance crowding your mind.
Those “Aha!” moments are more important than you might think.
They are pieces of divine guidance being transmitted from the universe to the inner self.
Some might call them “downloads”.
Basically, the reason this happens is that you have set an intention, and the universe has responded.
The message is that a new door has been opened.
Fresh opportunity is being offered to you.
It’s now time to take action and move onto a path that aligns with your deepest desires.
“Have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow know what you truly want to become.” – Steve Jobs.
2.) Finding Your Flow.
Have you ever become so focused on a particular task that you lose all track of time?
In the flow state, everything around you will fade from view and you will seem to zone in on the task at hand.
Being in a state of flow is common when you are taking inspired action.
Many successful artists, writers, musicians and athletes have mastered this flow state and are able to tap into it whenever they are working on something particularly important.
When you are in this state, you are right where you need to be to achieve your goals.
Your productivity will skyrocket and yet, you won’t feel as though you have worked hard at all.
The flow state is relaxing.
Time will flash by in an instant and once you are done, you will be left with a sense of alignment and accomplishment.
If you find yourself in a state of flow, take note and repeat that action more often.
When you follow your flow, you follow your purpose.
“Flow is an optimal state of consciousness, a peak state where we both feel and perform our best.” – Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi
3.) Acting On What Feels Good.
Another way to take inspired action is to do more of the things that make you feel good.
Follow your heart.
What would make you happy right now?
How can you emit more good vibrations out into the universe?
Now, “what feels good”, will not always directly correspond with your goal…
And that’s ok!
In fact, sometimes you may feel guided to take a nap or spend time with friends…
Always act on your intuition, even if it doesn’t feel like it’s moving you any closer to your goals.
Remember, every inspired action prepares you for the next…
And the more you acknowledge and follow inner inspiration, the more guidance you will receive.
“Always, when you feel good, you are in the place of attracting that which you are wanting.” – Abraham Hicks
What Is Neutral Action?
Neutral action steps are the things that you do every day that do not necessarily evoke strong emotion.
In fact, neutral action can often feel a little mundane or “boring”.
Think of these tasks as stepping stones that will lead you toward more inspired action.
Neutral action usually includes the repetitive tasks that make up your day to day routine.
Essentially these mini-steps are keeping you in alignment with a variety of different things, only the energy is just a little more subtle.
“The man who moves mountains begins by carrying away small stones.” – Confucius[thrive_link color=’purple’ link=’https://moderndaymanifestations.com/cheat-sheet/’ target=’_blank’ size=’medium’ align=’aligncenter’]Do You Want To Manifest? Get Your Free Cheat Sheet Here![/thrive_link]
What Is Uninspired action?
Uninspired actions are physical steps that put you out of alignment.
Things that make you feel tired, stressed and miserable…
Yet for some reason or another, you feel obligated to complete these tasks.
For many people, this is their 9 – 5 job…
Now, in the beginning, the job feels like an exciting new adventure.
In fact, it may have started off as inspired or aligned action.
But we are not stagnant beings!
Life is about growth, expansion and creation.
Uninspired action is what occurs when you stop moving forward.
If the actions you are taking have become stressful or depressing, it’s likely that you are moving into a state on uninspired action.
Another example is when someone asks you to do something that you really don’t want to do
Or when you push yourself into a task that really isn’t in alignment with what you want out of life.
Of course, it’s always nice to go out of your way to help others…
But at what cost?
If you are taking action that really doesn’t feel good on a soul level, you are being guided out of alignment…
And this is uninspired action.
“If it’s not a hell yes, it’s a no!” – Jen Hatmaker
Understanding The Idea That Thoughts Create Things…
Ok so now that you have a better understanding of how action influences your goals and desires, let’s backtrack to a popular Law of Attraction saying…
“Thoughts create things!”
I love this quote but I think sometimes it’s taken the wrong way.
The truth is that thoughts really do create things…
Take a look around…
Everything in this world once existed only within the realm thought.
If you have ever experienced a lucid dream, you will understand that on a non-physical level, thoughts become “things” instantaneously.
Translate this to your normal waking life and you will understand the quote a little better.
You see, on a vibrational level, everything you want has already manifested.
The vortex exists in a non-physical thought dimension that overlaps your physical reality.
The idea is that when manifesting, you must place an object of desire within your vortex before it can materialize into your reality.
In other words…
Everything in this 3-dimensional world must exist within the non-physical vortex prior to it manifesting into the physical.
Yes, thoughts create things but that does not mean that you should sit on the sofa thinking about your desires all day and hoping that they will pop out of nowhere.
We didn’t come here for that.
Taking action is all part of the fun.
We are 3-dimensional beings experiencing reality in a physical way.
Therefore physical laws apply…
Manifestation without action is like trying to survive on the earth without ever seeking food or creating shelter.
“As far as I can tell, it’s just about letting the universe know what you want and then working toward it while letting go of how it comes to pass.” – Jim Carry
Manifestation and Inspired Action…
When it comes to your manifestation routine, taking action on inspired guidance is important.
Because whenever you set an intention for a particular desire, the universe begins to re-establish your path in order to align you with whatever it is that you want.
By communicating with your inner self, the universe can help guide you by suggesting the actions that will enable you to achieve your goals.
Thoughts and feelings create opportunities for inspired action.
It’s the inspired action that then enables you to manifest your desires fast![thrive_link color=’purple’ link=’https://moderndaymanifestations.com/cheat-sheet/’ target=’_blank’ size=’medium’ align=’aligncenter’]Do You Want To Manifest? Get Your Free Cheat Sheet Here![/thrive_link]
Can Inspired Action Become Uninspired Over Time?
How many times have you found yourself starting a project feeling excited and inspired only to wind up loathing it later on?
This certainly does occur and most of the time it happens just when you start to lose sight of the desired result.
If your desire is to complete a project, be sure to maintain that desire till the end…
If you stop caring enough to want a positive outcome, you will move out of alignment and it will become a chore to complete the task.
It’s also possible to move through to inspired action from a less aligned state of being.
The key is to always set clear intention.
If your thoughts and feelings change, so too will the alignment of your approach.
“As you start to walk out on the way, the way appears.” – Rumi
How to Recieve More Inspired Guidance In Your Life
The best way to take inspired action is to follow your inner guidance system and intuitive connection with the universe.
But what can you do to strengthen that connection?
And how can you open up your channels for inspired action to flow through?
Well, I have to say that my top answer for that is without a doubt, meditation.
Meditation allows the inner self to channel and transmit higher wisdom and inspiration that will guide you gently into alignment with your desires.
How do I know this?
Well, when I started meditating, I found myself receiving more inspired guidance than ever before.
Sometimes this guidance was received during the meditation itself or just in general throughout the day.
I find that divine inspiration takes on many shapes and forms such as random ideas (downloads), signs, and patterns.
These all become much more evident when you have a regular meditation routine.
Here are some more ways you can raise your vibration to receive inspired guidance…
- Follow your heart.
- Do things that make you happy.
- Be present.
- Spend time in nature.
Finally, when you receive this guidance, the most important step is to act!
The more you acknowledge and act on divine inspiration, the more it will continue to flow through your life.
Before you know it, you will be intuitively picking up on more inspiration than you ever have before.
“The main reason intuition is so important is this: It is a clear sign that you are connecting with your inner spiritual guidance system. Intuition is a direct signal from your deepest self that you are navigating from your true centre.” – Gay Hendricks
